Leadzo Technologies Private Limited is committed to protecting the privacy and Personal Data of every individual who interacts with our Platform. This Privacy Policy explains what Personal Data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

1. Who We Are and How to Contact Us

Leadzo Technologies Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary within the meaning of Section 2(i) of the DPDP Act, 2023, in respect of all Personal Data collected through the Platform. We determine the purposes and means of processing your Personal Data.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Platform at www.leadzo.co.in and its associated mobile applications, including Buyers (persons seeking professional services), Service Professionals or Sellers (persons offering professional services), and all other visitors to the Platform. This Privacy Policy is drafted in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the 'DPDP Act'), the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Personal Data processed by Leadzo in connection with:

  • The registration and account management of Buyers on the Platform
  • The registration and account management of Service Professionals (Sellers) on the Platform
  • The submission and processing of service requests by Buyers
  • The matching and distribution of service requests to Service Professionals
  • The provision of Facilitation Services to Buyers and Sellers
  • The operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Platform
  • Marketing, promotional, and operational communications to users
  • Compliance with applicable legal and regulatory obligations

This Policy does not govern the processing of Personal Data by Service Professionals after they receive Buyer contact details through the Platform. Service Professionals who receive Buyer Personal Data through Lead redemption are independent Data Fiduciaries under the DPDP Act, 2023, and are separately responsible for their own data protection compliance.

3.3 Personal Data Collected from All Platform Visitors

  • Cookie identifiers and similar tracking data (see Clause 10 for details)

3.4 Sensitive Personal Data

Leadzo does not intentionally collect Sensitive Personal Data as defined under the DPDP Act, 2023. If you voluntarily provide information that falls within the category of Sensitive Personal Data in connection with your service request or profile (for example, health-related information submitted as part of a wellness or healthcare service request), you consent to Leadzo processing such data solely for the purpose of facilitating the relevant service request.

4. How We Collect Your Personal Data

Leadzo collects your Personal Data through the following means:

  • Directly from you. When you register on the Platform, submit a service request, complete OTP Verification, create or update your profile, purchase Credits, submit reviews, contact our support team, or participate in surveys or feedback programmes.
  • Automatically through the Platform. Through cookies, tracking pixels, server logs, and similar technologies as you interact with the Platform. Please see Clause 10 for details.
  • From advertising platforms. Google Ads and Meta Pixel collect information about your interactions with the Platform for advertising measurement and targeting purposes. This includes click identifiers (GCLID) from Google Ads and event data from the Meta Pixel.
  • From third-party analytics providers. Google Analytics collects aggregated usage data about Platform visitors.
  • From payment processors. Razorpay provides Leadzo with transaction confirmation data and payment reference numbers in connection with Credit Pack and Subscription purchases. Complete payment card details are handled exclusively by Razorpay and are not transmitted to or stored by Leadzo.
  • From WhatsApp and email communication platforms. Leadzo uses third-party communication platforms to send WhatsApp messages, bulk emails, and marketing communications to users. These platforms may provide Leadzo with delivery receipts, open rates, and click data.
  • From verification service providers. Where Leadzo engages third-party verification services to validate a Service Professional's identity, business registration, or professional qualifications, those providers may share verification outcome data with Leadzo.

5. Why We Process Your Personal Data. Purposes and Legal Basis

5.1 Processing Purposes. Buyers

  • 5.1.1 To verify your identity and contact details through OTP Verification and to process your service request on the Platform.
  • 5.1.2 To match your service request with relevant Service Professionals using our algorithm and to share your contact details and service requirements with matched Professionals so that they may contact you directly.
  • 5.1.3 To enable you to browse the Seller Listings and to facilitate direct contact between you and Service Professionals you select.
  • 5.1.4 To send you service request updates, including notifications when Professionals have been matched, have responded, or have been selected.
  • 5.1.5 To follow up with you after a service engagement to confirm whether you hired a Service Professional, for the purposes of Platform quality assurance and Seller performance reporting.
  • 5.1.6 To invite you to submit ratings and reviews of Service Professionals following completed or attempted engagements, and to display your reviews on the Platform.
  • 5.1.7 To send you marketing and promotional communications about the Platform and its services, subject to your consent and your right to withdraw such consent at any time.
  • 5.1.8 To analyse Platform usage patterns and improve the Facilitation Services through aggregated, anonymised data analysis.
  • 5.1.9 To deliver targeted advertising to you on third-party platforms including Google and Meta, using cookies, tracking pixels, and hashed identifier matching.
  • 5.1.10 To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, including responding to court orders, regulatory directions, and law enforcement requests.

5.2 Processing Purposes. Service Professionals

  • 5.2.1 To register your account, verify your identity and business credentials, and activate your Seller Profile on the Platform.
  • 5.2.2 To display your Seller Profile to Buyers, including your profile information, service categories, geographic coverage, review scores, and Leadzo Advantage subscription status.
  • 5.2.3 To match your profile to relevant Buyer service requests through our algorithm and to distribute matched Leads to you upon Credit redemption.
  • 5.2.4 To process your Credit Pack and Subscription purchases in conjunction with Razorpay and to maintain your Credit wallet and transaction history.
  • 5.2.5 To send you transactional communications, including Lead alerts, Credit purchase confirmations, tax invoices, Credit expiry reminders, and Subscription renewal notifications.
  • 5.2.6 To contact you by telephone, WhatsApp, SMS, and email for sales outreach, account management, performance reviews, and optimisation support.
  • 5.2.7 To send you marketing and promotional communications about Credit Packs, Leadzo Advantage, and other Platform products and services.
  • 5.2.8 To generate and share monthly performance reports with Leadzo Advantage subscribers.
  • 5.2.9 To enforce the Terms and Conditions for Service Professionals, including investigating and acting on alleged breaches.
  • 5.2.10 To deliver targeted advertising to you on third-party platforms including Google and Meta, using hashed email identifiers and Custom Audience matching.
  • 5.2.11 To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations, including GST invoicing, responding to court orders, regulatory directions, and law enforcement requests.

5.3 Lawful Basis for Processing under the DPDP Act, 2023

  • Consent (Section 6, DPDP Act). For marketing communications, promotional outreach, and any processing beyond what is strictly necessary to provide the Facilitation Services. You may withdraw consent at any time as described in Clause 9.
  • Legitimate uses (Section 7, DPDP Act). For processing that is necessary to perform the Facilitation Services you have requested, including matching service requests to Professionals, verifying contact details, processing payments, issuing invoices, and complying with legal obligations.
  • Legal obligation. For processing required under applicable Indian law, including the IT Act, 2000, the IT Rules, 2021, the GST Act, 2017, and directions from regulatory authorities or courts.

6. Who We Share Your Personal Data With

6.1 Service Professionals. Buyer Data

When a Buyer's service request is matched to Service Professionals through the Platform's algorithm, or when a Buyer directly contacts a Service Professional through the Seller Listings, Leadzo shares the Buyer's contact details and service requirement information with the relevant Service Professional(s). This sharing is a fundamental and necessary feature of the Facilitation Services. By submitting a service request or initiating direct contact with a Service Professional on the Platform, Buyers consent to this sharing of their Personal Data.

6.2 Payment Processors. Razorpay

Leadzo uses Razorpay (operated by Razorpay Software Private Limited, CIN: U72200KA2013PTC097389) as its third-party payment gateway for the processing of Credit Pack purchases and Subscription fees by Service Professionals. When you make a payment on the Platform, the payment transaction data you provide is processed by Razorpay directly. Leadzo receives transaction confirmation data and payment reference numbers from Razorpay but does not store or have access to your complete payment card number, CVV, or banking credentials. Razorpay's own privacy policy governs its processing of your payment data and is available at www.razorpay.com/privacy.

6.3 Analytics Provider. Google Analytics

Leadzo uses Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to collect aggregated and anonymised data about Platform visitor behaviour, including pages visited, session duration, traffic sources, and device and browser information. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this data. You may opt out of Google Analytics data collection by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

6.4 Advertising Platforms. Google Ads and Meta Pixel

Leadzo uses Google Ads (provided by Google LLC) to advertise the Platform to prospective Buyers and Sellers. Leadzo has implemented Google Click Identifier (GCLID) offline conversion tracking, which enables Leadzo to attribute Credit Pack purchases by Service Professionals back to the Google Ads campaigns that originally drove Buyer traffic to the Platform.

Leadzo also uses the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) on the Platform to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns run on Facebook and Instagram, to build Custom Audiences for targeted advertising, and to enable retargeting of Platform visitors on Meta platforms. You may opt out of Meta's use of this data for advertising purposes through your Facebook ad preferences at www.facebook.com/adpreferences.

6.8 What We Do Not Do

Leadzo does not sell, rent, or commercially exploit your Personal Data to any third party for their own independent marketing or commercial purposes. Leadzo does not share your Personal Data with data brokers. All sharing of Personal Data described in this Clause 6 is for the specific purposes of operating the Platform, providing the Facilitation Services, running advertising campaigns, and fulfilling legal obligations.

7. Data Storage and Security

7.1 Where We Store Your Data

Leadzo stores your Personal Data on servers located within India, hosted through MongoDB and associated cloud infrastructure. Leadzo takes steps to ensure that its primary data storage infrastructure is maintained within India in compliance with applicable data localisation requirements and the provisions of Section 16 of the DPDP Act, 2023.

7.2 Security Measures

Leadzo implements appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your Personal Data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction, in compliance with Section 8(4) of the DPDP Act, 2023. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols
  • Access controls limiting access to Personal Data to authorised personnel only, on a need-to-know basis
  • OTP-based authentication for user account access
  • Regular security assessments of the Platform and its infrastructure
  • Contractual obligations on third-party service providers and Data Processors to implement appropriate security measures

Upon expiry of the applicable retention period, your Personal Data will be securely deleted or anonymised in compliance with Section 8(7) of the DPDP Act, 2023. Anonymised data is no longer Personal Data and may be retained and used by Leadzo indefinitely for analytics and business improvement purposes.

9. Your Rights as a Data Principal

As a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights in respect of your Personal Data processed by Leadzo. To exercise any of these rights, please submit a written request to support@leadzo.co.in with the subject line 'DATA RIGHTS REQUEST'.

9.1 Right of Access. Section 11, DPDP Act 2023

You have the right to obtain from Leadzo: a summary of the Personal Data about you that Leadzo holds and is currently processing; the identities of all Data Processors and other Data Fiduciaries with whom Leadzo has shared your Personal Data; and a description of the purposes for which your Personal Data has been processed.

9.2 Right to Correction and Erasure. Section 12, DPDP Act 2023

You have the right to request that Leadzo correct any inaccurate or incomplete Personal Data held about you, update your Personal Data where it has changed, and erase your Personal Data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to Leadzo's legal obligations to retain certain data.

9.3 Right to Grievance Redressal. Section 13, DPDP Act 2023

You have the right to have any grievance in connection with Leadzo's processing of your Personal Data addressed promptly and effectively. Grievances may be submitted to legal@leadzo.co.in. Leadzo will acknowledge all grievances within twenty-four (24) hours and will endeavour to resolve them within fifteen (15) days. If you are not satisfied with Leadzo's response to your grievance, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the Data Protection Board of India, established under Section 18 of the DPDP Act, 2023.

9.4 Right to Nominate. Section 14, DPDP Act 2023

You have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights under the DPDP Act on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity. To make or update a nomination, please contact us at support@leadzo.co.in.

9.5 Right to Withdraw Consent

Where Leadzo processes your Personal Data on the basis of your consent (for example, for marketing communications), you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. To withdraw consent to marketing communications, please email support@leadzo.co.in with the subject line 'UNSUBSCRIBE', or follow the unsubscribe instructions in any marketing communication. Leadzo will process your withdrawal within ten (10) business days.

Leadzo will acknowledge any complaint submitted to the Grievance Officer within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt and will resolve the complaint within fifteen (15) days of the date of receipt, in compliance with Rule 3(2)(d) of the IT Rules, 2021.
